In December 2016, we rolled out the red carpet for the movie premiere of “Fearless,” produced & directed by Lisa Skvarla. This premiere featured 16 kids from last summer’s On-Camera Acting Camp for Kids 101 and 102. (Read more about our kids’ camps below.)
INTRODUCTORY ACTING 101
This camp (101) will encourage your children to use their imagination and to develop the techniques and confidence they need to create believable performances for the camera.
This camp teaches the fundamentals of acting by using basic techniques and fun acting games. Children participate in class and work on improving their basic skills for auditions, improvisation, martial arts/fight choreography, Meisner technique and scene study. This rolls into week two…..
On Camera Acting Camp For Kids 102 (Movie Camp! )
By the end of the week, all of our students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learned by going into the 2nd week (102) and participating in their very own short film production! This student production will be cast, written, rehearsed, taped, and edited. Professional writers, directors, and make-up artists will be involved, as well as the film and television students from Central Washington University’s film school. The kids production will then be screened at a local theater or venue at a later date for their friends and family to enjoy. Sure to be a great time!! Ages 7+
